**Ode to Rubber**

I think that I shall never see
My life return to normalcy.
A life where rubber had no part
But now whose mention thrills my heart.
And keeps me thinking all the day
Of how I can find time to play.
A life where I am free to think
Of other things than stamps and ink.
And life was calm, and life was quiet,
But I saw a stamp, and I HAD to buy it.
And the rest, as they say, is history . . .
I don't have stamps . . . my stamps have me!

Welcome to my new Blog!

I have finally decided to start a Blog. I know, I know, I am a slow poke, but what's a Girl to do when she's so busy reading everybody's else's inspirational Blogs?! :) I can't promise anything, but I will try to post something at least once a week... That is once I figure out how to make my Blog look as pretty as half ya' all's! :)

I chose the name Lilacs and Daisies because I love the smell of fresh purple Lilacs that bloom in Spring & I absolutely adore Gerbera Daisies & any Daisies in general!
